Hallo! My name is Marta and I come from Venice, Italy.
Since a kid, I have always had a strong interest in ceramics, certainly inherited by my parents’ deep love for antique European porcelain and art.
I have been attending Minato Mirai Pottery School since 2004. Thanks also to the support of the excellent teachers I found here, I have soon been discovering how beautiful and relaxing it is to mould from clay and create objects. When I shape my works, although still at a very beginner stage, I have a feeling of freedom of playing, thinking, dreaming, acting with clay, creating a pottery poem, from which my own sentiments ooze.




Hi, my name is Tania, I come from Russia (St. Petersburg). I work and study in Japan (Yokohama).
One of my hobbies is pottery. I have a habit of collecting samples of ceramics of all the places I visit in Japan and in the world.
Japan has very rich history and tradition in ceramics, and to my opinion it is the best place to study it. I have been attending Minato Mirai Pottery school since 2001, i enjoy very much mastering different techniques with the help of wonderful teachers here. It also helps me to enrich my knowledge of Japanese culture and tradition.
